Thousands of teachers across Vietnam have been left uncertain about the country's new professional classification system, specifically whether there are percentage caps limiting how many educators within a single institution can be reclassified from old to new career title codes. The Ministry of Education and Training has now stepped in to provide a clear and definitive response to these widespread concerns.

The confusion stems from the transition between old and new professional title codes under the national teacher classification framework. Many educators feared that quota restrictions might prevent them from being reclassified to appropriate new designations, potentially affecting their salaries, benefits, and career advancement opportunities.

The Ministry of Education and Training has officially clarified that the reclassification process from old career title codes to new ones is not subject to any fixed ratio or percentage cap within a given institution.
